1. Active participation in national flagship programs under the Ministry of Education’s “Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)” initiative, such as: Kampus Mengajar (Teaching Assistance), Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (Student Exchange), Certified Internships, Independent Study, and Pejuang Muda (under the Ministry of Social Affairs).
2. Recipient of the Competitive Program (PKKM) grant in 2024.

The program’s lecturers are actively involved in research and have obtained multiple external grants from the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DRTPM) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology over the last three years, including beginner lecturer research grants, domestic collaborative research (PKDN), regular fundamental research, and the strategic research collaboration program (KATALIS). - Excellence in publication
The program also excels in scientific publication. FITS lecturers regularly publish in reputable Scopus‑indexed top‑tier journals such as the International Journal of Science Education and Science & Education.
In addition, most lecturers have published their work in other Scopus‑indexed journals as well as journals indexed by Sinta, Google Scholar, and Publons.

The graduate profile of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Physics Education at IPI Garut is to produce graduates who can serve as educators, developers of IT‑based learning media, and entrepreneurs who are competitive and able to contribute to society.
