The research publications of IPI Garut have been recognized with the prestigious 'Silver Winner' award in the category of Higher Education Institutions with the Best Research Criteria (Institute category) by LLdikti Region IV. This achievement is reflected in the number of research outputs, with a total of 622 publications categorized based on publication rankings. It is evident that in addition to an increase in quantity, the quality of research publications at IPI Garut has also improved. This is reflected in the growing number of publications in higher-quality categories. For instance, in 2020, only 28 studies were published in reputable international journals. This number increased to 40 publications in 2021 and further to 49 publications in 2022. This indicates a significant enhancement in the quality of publications produced by IPI Garut faculty, demonstrating their commitment to achieving excellence in academic and research output.

Additionally, the quality of research article publications at IPI Garut can also be assessed in terms of their impact. This is indicated by the number of citations. According to a Google Scholar search, there were 416 cited documents over the past three years, with a total of 3,160 citations. Based on the statistics presented in Sinta data, this citation count shows significant improvement compared to previous years.
