Indonesian:Indonesian Education Institute Garut – 12 October 2026 – In order to increase students’ understanding of academic digital services and libraries, Indonesian:Indonesian Education Institute Garut organizing activities Introduction to Academic Information System and Library in Saturday, October 10, 2026.
This activity carries the theme “One Click for Academic, One Door for Literacy” The purpose of this project is to introduce various features and services in the Siakad system as a means to support students' academic activities and provide easier, faster, and more integrated access to library information.
This socialization presents speakers who provide explanations regarding the utilization of academic information systems, ranging from access to academic administrative services, the management of course information, to the utilization of digital library facilities. Through this activity, students are expected to be able to understand the flow of using Siakad and the Library, and to make optimal use of the available services to support the learning process.
In his presentation, the speaker explained that the transformation of digital services is an important part in supporting the modern educational ecosystem. The presence of Siakad and Edlink is expected to provide convenience for students in obtaining academic information and literacy resources without limitations of space and time.
In addition to delivering the material, the socialization activities also served as a platform for participants to discuss and ask questions related to the use of the system. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the various questions and responses given during the session.
With the existence of this activity, Indonesian:Indonesian Education Institute Garut It is hoped that all students will become more familiar with the Siakad system and make it part of their daily academic activities. Maximum utilization of information technology is expected to create more effective, efficient academic services and support the improvement of learning quality.
