The study of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) continues to be required to provide a creative, contextual, and enjoyable learning experience for students. In response to this need, students of the Teacher Education Profession (PPG) carried out an innovative interactive media learning activity titled “Lakon Kelana Nusantara” as part of the Leadership Project.
The activities held on September 22–23, 2026 took place at two educational institutions, namely SMP Negeri 2 Garut and SMP Negeri 5 Tarogong Kidul. This activity is part of the implementation of learning in the Project Leadership PPG course, with guidance from Dr. Ade Suherman, M.Pd.
“Lakon Kelana Nusantara” is designed as an innovative P.P.C. curriculum that combines elements of play, culture, creativity, collaboration, and the strengthening of national values. This concept was developed to transform P.P.C. learning that is sometimes considered theoretical into a more active and engaging learning experience.
In its implementation, Lakon Kelana Nusantara consists of three interactive learning media, each of which represents important material in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education.
The first media is Wayang Pancasila and Diversity. This media utilizes the puppet character as a means to introduce and internalize the values of Pancasila and the diversity that is the wealth of the Indonesian nation. Learners are invited to understand the meaning of unity, tolerance, teamwork, and appreciation for differences through stories and activities that are more closely related to their world.
The second media is Ludo UUD, a board game developed to help students understand the material of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945. Through the game mechanism, students are not only required to memorize the material, but also to discuss, answer questions, make decisions, and build cooperation with their peers.
Meanwhile, the third media is Mission Box NKRI. This media is designed in the form of challenges or missions related to the State of the Republic of Indonesia. The learners are faced with various tasks and problems that encourage them to think critically, collaborate, communicate, and demonstrate their attitude as responsible citizens.
The three media form a unity within the concept of “Lakon Kelana Nusantara”, which brings the students together as if they are on a learning journey to learn about Pancasila and diversity, understand the constitution, and strengthen their understanding of the Republic of Indonesia.

The implementation of activities at SMP Negeri 2 Garut and SMP Negeri 5 Tarogong Kidul received positive responses from the students. The learning atmosphere was seen to be more dynamic because the students were directly involved in games, discussions, problem-solving, and various challenges found in each medium.
This activity also serves as a space for PPG students to implement educational leadership competencies. Students not only act as presenters of materials, but also as designers, facilitators, innovators, and evaluators of learning. Thus, the Leadership Project does not stop at classroom learning activities but produces innovative products that can be utilized and further developed.
According to Dr. Ade Suherman, M.Pd., the innovation of physical education and health learning needs to be continuously developed so that the values of Pancasila and citizenship can be understood by the learners through meaningful learning experiences.
Through “Lakon Kelana Nusantara”, the PPN curriculum is expected to not only focus on mastering knowledge, but also to foster creativity, critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication, character, and a love for Pancasila and the State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Interestingly, this Leadership Project not only resulted in practical learning experiences. As a form of sustainability and academic documentation, the PPG students also produced an ISBN book that addresses the theme “Interactive Learning Through Lakon Kelana Nusantara”. The book is expected to serve as a reference and inspiration for teachers and prospective teacher students in developing innovative PJK learning media.
In addition to the ISBN books, this project is also aimed at generating Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for the learning media innovations developed. Thus, the students’ products not only serve as an external component of the course activities, but also possess academic, educational, and innovative value that can be developed to support physical education and health education learning in various educational institutions.

The “Lakon Kelana Nusantara” project is one example of how PPKn learning can be packaged creatively by integrating the values of Pancasila, diversity, the constitution, and the spirit of the Republic of Indonesia into interactive and enjoyable learning media. This innovation also demonstrates that PPG students have a strategic role in bringing about a more creative, humanistic, and relevant transformation in learning that is aligned with the needs of learners in an ever-evolving educational era.
